India is a country known for its rich culture and tradition. There are 22 languages that are listed in schedule 8 of the Constitution of India. In order to celebrate linguistic diversity, Ministry of Human Resource Development and CBSE has initiated Bhasha Sangam – Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.
Bhasha Sangam is celebrated in D.A.V. PUBLIC SCHOOL, Chennai to familiarize every student with simple dialogues in the listed 22 Indian languages.
Swati. A class of VIII gave a beautiful introduction to the language of the day – BODO. She also highlighted on the uniqueness of the language and state in which it is spoken.
A few students from class VIII dressed up elegantly to represent the people who speak BODO.
Shruthilaya of class VIII taught the language to the enthusiastic audience by repeating the given sentences with confidence.
About eight students sang a mesmerizing song in BODO language which left the audience enthralled.
